WHERE: Murphy/Parker – FM 2551 (Murphy Road) traffic will be shifted to the new pavement from just south of Maxwell Creek bridge to FM 2514 (Parker Road).
WHEN: The traffic switch will take place beginning Wednesday April 30, 2014.
WHAT: Weather permitting, northbound and southbound traffic will be shifted to the new pavement from just south of the Maxwell Creek Bridge to Parker Road. Traffic will be traveling on the new pavement that has been constructed on the west side of Murphy Road. Traffic will stay on these lanes until the remaining four new lanes are constructed.
Backups are possible while barricades are being moved and motorists are encouraged to consider alternate routes.
