DALLAS DISTRICT – In an ongoing effort to enhance state roadways and address congestion, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) approved five contract awards for projects in the Dallas District for roadway improvements.
“Like all of Texas, the urban areas of our state will continue to see rapid population growth,” said Commissioner Victor Vandergriff. “Relieving congestion on our roadways not only improves our quality of life, but also enhances economic opportunities. We are pleased to partner with state and local entities who share our vision of keeping Texas moving.”
Construction start dates will be established in upcoming meetings between TxDOT and the contractors.
