COLLIN COUNTY — In an ongoing effort to enhance state roadways, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) approved a contract award for a Collin County improvement project.
The contract includes additional paved surface width on FM 1138 from the Rockwall County line to FM 6 in Nevada. The 4.2-mile project was awarded to APAC-Texas, Inc. in the amount of $ 3.3 million.
Construction start dates will be established in upcoming meetings between TxDOT and the contractors.
