The Office of Strategic Policy and Performance Management (SPPM) supports the Transportation Commission in developing a strategic direction for the future of transportation in Texas. SPPM will create new mission, vision, value and goal statements. Action steps and performance expectations will be defined for each goal are to actively gauge how the agency is performing. Mary E. Meyland is the director of SPPM.
