2004 English Special Provisions to Item 161 - Compost (All)


SP161-009  PDF  RTF   - Adds a maximum soluble salt content and makes the Item a plans quantity measurement when measured by the square yard. Districtwide Use. San Antonio District.
SP161-008  PDF  RTF   - VOID - DO NOT USE. For project 0073-08-167, 0073-08-168, 0100-03-071, 0678-01-031 in Bexar, Uvalde, Wilson Counties. This changes SP 161-005 to include the wording of newly required SP 161-006. It allows salt content up to 10 dS/m in compost, and makes ''Erosion Control Compost'' and ''General Use Compost'' plan qty items when measured by the SY. One-Time Use.
SP161-006  PDF  RTF   - Eliminates the need for DMS-6310 by incorporating Table 1 into the special provision. This special provision is required for all projects using Item 161 beginning with the January 2011 letting. Replaces SP161-001 . (Change Memo: de-25-10). Statewide Use.
SP161-005  PDF  RTF   - Furnish compost that meets the requirements of DMS-6360, “Compost.” In general use compost incorporated into landscape planting beds, a soluble salt content up to 10 dS/m will be acceptable. SP 161-005 includes the requirements of required SP 161-001. Districtwide Use. San Antonio District.
SP161-004  PDF  RTF   - For project 0017-10-242 in Bexar County. Furnish compost that meets the requirements of DMS-6360, Compost. Material not conforming to quality monitoring program under DMS-6360, may be used only when tested by the Engineer and approved before use. One-Time Use.
SP161-003  PDF  RTF   - For project 0017-10-242 in Bexar County. Make the SY quantity a plans quantity measurement item. One-Time Use.
SP161-002  PDF  RTF   - For project 0521-04-269 in Bexar County. When Erosion Control Compost or General Use Compost are measured by the square yard, they are plans quantity measurement Items. The quantity to be paid is the quantity shown in the proposal. One-Time Use.
SP161-001  PDF  RTF   - Furnish compost that meets the requirements of DMS-6360, Compost. Material not conforming to quality monitoring program under DMS-6360, may be used only when tested by the Engineer and approved before use. Required on all projects with Item 161 beginning with the June 2007 letting. Replaced by SP161-006 . (Change Memo: de-04-07). Statewide Use.
