Southern Gateway - request for proposals (RFP)
Southern Gateway
TxDOT is pleased to present a request for proposals (RFP) to the shortlisted teams for the design, development, construction and potential maintenance of the Southern Gateway Project, including improvements to I-35E from south of the I-35E/US 67 interchange to Colorado Boulevard, with transition work extending north to Reunion Boulevard, and improvements to US 67 from the I-35E/US 67 interchange to I-20 in Dallas County.
Executed agreements
On June 30, 2017, TxDOT officials executed a design-build agreement and associated capital maintenance agreement with Pegasus Link Constructors for the design, construction and capital maintenance of the Southern Gateway Project.
Apparent best value determination
On April 27, 2017, the Texas Transportation Commission, by Minute Order 114904, approved the determination that the proposal submitted by Pegasus Link Constructors provides the apparent best value to the department.
