Open House - SH 29 at D.B. Wood Road

Purpose:
TxDOT, in conjunction with Williamson County, is hosting an open house to gather public input on proposed improvements to the intersection of SH 29 (University Ave.) at D.B. Wood Road in Georgetown, TX. Preliminary maps and exhibits or the proposed project will be available and project staff will be present to answer questions. Attendees may come and go at their convenience.
Description:
- Adding turn lanes along SH 29 and D.B. Wood Road
- Adding a raised median along SH 29
Some right-of-way acquisition is proposed. There are not any displacements anticipated by the proposed improvements at this time.
The open house will be conducted in English. Persons interested in attending the open house who have special communication needs are requested to contact the Williamson County Public Information Officer, at (512) 943-1663, or by fax at (512) 943-1662 at least five business days prior to the meeting so that appropriate arrangements may be made. Williamson County and TxDOT will make every reasonable effort to accommodate communication or accessibility needs.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
