Public Meeting - Proposed Improvements to US 183 in Rising Star

Purpose:
TxDOT will host a public meeting to present proposed improvements to US 183 in Rising Star. All citizens interested are invited to attend this meeting and provide comments. The meeting will be an open house format so citizens may come and go at their convenience. Staff will be on hand to answer questions.
Description:
The project begins at Rising Star's north city limits and extends to near the south city limits. The project includes:
- Reconstruction of pavement
- Upgrade of sidewalk and ADA ramps to meet current standards
- Drainage improvements
