Description: The proposed SH 200 project provides for a four-lane, undivided highway at a new location with two lanes in each direction and 10-foot shoulders. The proposed typical right-of-way (ROW) width is 160 feet. The proposed project provides for a route around Ingleside’s central business area, thereby decreasing traffic congestion and enhancing safety along the existing route. The proposed improvements require approximately 38.3 acres of ROW and traverse wetlands and the 100-year floodplain of Kinney Bayou.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
