Public Meeting - Doniphan Drive Corridor Plan

Purpose:

The Texas Department of Transportation is hosting a public meeting for the Doniphan Drive Corridor Plan. The purpose is to provide information about the study and gather input from the public.

Description:

The TxDOT El Paso District has initiated the development of a Corridor Plan for an 11-mile section of Doniphan Drive (State Highway 20) between the Texas/New Mexico state line and Mesa Street in El Paso. One of the results of this planning process will be the identification of a set of projects for short-, medium- and long-term implementation. The public meeting will be conducted in an open house format. Those wishing to attend are encouraged to do so at their convenience. Displays will be available for review and comment and TxDOT staff will be available to answer questions. No formal presentation will be given.

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
