Notice Affording an Opportunity for a Public Hearing - Loop 375 (Bob Hope to Montana)
| Purpose: | TxDOT is offering the opportunity to request a public hearing covering the social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed Loop 375 (Joe Battle Boulevard) project. TxDOT previously held a public meeting. Any interested citizen may request a public hearing by submitting a written request to the address below. If a public hearing is requested, a date and location will be provided later. If you have general questions or concerns regarding the proposed project, you may contact the project manager at (915) 790-4400. Maps showing the project location, design, environmental documentation, tentative construction schedules and other information relative to the project are available for inspection Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the following location: El Paso District Office |
| Description: | The proposed project consists of adding an additional 12-foot-wide travel lane in each direction between US 62/180 (Montana Avenue) to Bob Hope Drive. The proposed project will not require any bridge reconstructions. All proposed work is anticipated to occur within existing TxDOT right of way and would not result in commercial or residential displacements. The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant of 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT. |
