Public Meeting - FM 1463

Where:	Shafer Elementary School, Cafeteria 5150 Ranch Point Drive Katy, TX 77494	When:	Feb. 26, 2015 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Purpose:	The purpose of the meeting is to gather public input on the proposed roadway improvements to FM 1463 from I-10 (W) to FM 1093 in Fort Bend County, Texas.

Description:	The proposed project is anticipated to improve traffic and mobility; project improvements include: Widen from two lanes to four to eight lanes Add sidewalks on both sides Construct a raised median Approximately 20 acres of additional right of way would be needed for the proposed improvements but no displacements are anticipated. The meeting will be an open house format with no formal presentation. Attendees will be able to view project maps, environmental constraints maps, visit one on one with project team members, ask questions and share comments on the project. Attendees are invited to come and go at their convenience. The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 17, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
