Public Meeting - I-10 from FM 3538 to FM 359

Purpose:

TxDOT will hold a public meeting regarding the proposed design changes to the I-10 Improvement and Reconstruction Project, from FM 3538 in Sealy, Austin County to FM 359 in Brookshire, Waller County. The meeting will be an open house format so citizens may come and go at their convenience, and staff will be available to answer questions.

Description:

The proposed project has been revised to include:

• Adding additional frontage roads near the City of Sealy
• Design changes to ramps and intersections within Austin County
• Adding continuous frontage roads from FM 3538 to SH 36
• Converting a two-way to one-way frontage road from the BNSF Railroad to Ward Bend Road

The proposed design changes would require approximately seven acres of additional right of way.

Maps showing the proposed project’s location and design drawings will be available for review at the Public Meeting. Information will also be available for review by appointment Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., excluding holidays, at the:
