Beams on Stink Creek Bridge over I-20 to be repaired
ABILENE – TxDOT contractors on Monday, March 20, will begin work to repair beams on the bridge at Stink Creek Road (CR 126) over I-20 in Nolan County. This project will affect eastbound I-20 and the eastbound frontage roads.
During the first phase of this project, an overlay will be applied to the eastbound I-20 frontage road in preparation for detour traffic. Following overlay application, traffic will be diverted from eastbound I-20 onto the eastbound frontage road while work is performed on the bridge beams. This detour will be in effect during daytime hours for the majority of the project, but drives should expect a few nighttime detours as the project progresses.
The $273,381 project was awarded to Salinas Construction Technologies, LTD., of Pleasanton, Texas.
