DALLAS – An additional segment of the I-30 TEXpress Lanes from Westmoreland Road to Sylvan Avenue is scheduled to open westbound on Sunday, April 23 at 10 a.m. Updates will be provided on Twitter: @TxDOTTEXpress
The 3-mile segment is on the east end of the I-30 TEXpress Lanes corridor and will feature one reversible lane and an entrance/exit near Sylvan Avenue. This segment will join the currently open 9 miles of reversible TEXpress Lanes on I-30. With the addition of the east segment, the lanes will run from west of SH 161 to east of Sylvan Avenue for a total of 12 miles. The remaining segment in Tarrant County is expected to open in 2020 with the completion of the SH 360/SH 30 interchange project.
