Kaufman County Roadway Construction Contracts Awarded

KAUFMAN COUNTY – In an ongoing effort to enhance state roadways and improve safety, TxDOT approved three contracts from bridge reconstruction to pavement repair in three locations.

  • US 175 from the Dallas County Line to Brushy Creek bridge – mill, overlay and bridge joint repairs. The $4 million contract was awarded to Austin Bridge and Road Services, LP.
  • County Road 342 at Greasy Creek Tributary – replace bridge and approaches. The $696,776 contract was awarded to Stateline Construction, LLP.
  • FM 1392 from US 80 to SH 205 – rehabilitation of existing roadway. The $5.9 million contract was awarded to A.L. Helmcamp, Inc.

Construction dates will be established in upcoming meetings between TxDOT and the contractor.
