LAREDO – Beginning Monday, June 19, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily for approximately five weeks, alternate lane closures will be in effect for US 83 South (Zapata Highway) northbound mainlanes between Rio Bravo, Texas, and Webb/Zapata County line in order to facilitate asphalt pavement overlay work by Anderson Columbia Inc.
The traveling public is urged to slow down, cautiously merge to open lanes, and observe all safety signs and traffic control devices in the work zone while looking out for the safety of work crews.
