TxDOT plans work in Gregg County

GREGG COUNTY – Beginning Sunday night, Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews are scheduled to perform pavement texturing operations on Interstate 20 between SH 42 and the Harrison County Line.

The work will be conducted by a slow-moving convoy between 9 p.m.-5 a.m. through Wednesday.

Motorists are encouraged to be prepared to reduce speed and merge in and around the convoy work area.

Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue several weeks of pavement-repair operations on US 80 between Loop 485 in Gladewater and the Upshur County Line, followed by similar work on US 271 between US 80 in Gladewater and the Upshur County Line.

Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic in two-lane areas.

TxDOT plans work in Wood County

WOOD COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to conclude pavement repairs on US 69 between the Rains County Line and FM 1799. Once that work is complete, crews are scheduled to apply a seal coat to FM 2422 between US 80 and FM 1804 east of Mineola, and to the intersection of FM 1801 and East Loop 564 in Mineola.

Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic in two-lane areas.

TxDOT plans work in Tatum

TATUM – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews on Tuesday this week are scheduled to perform seal coat operations on SH 149 in Tatum between the Tatum northern city limit and SH 43. Once the work is complete, the roadway will be restriped to allow for a continuous left-turn lane and right-turn lanes for easier access to the schools in that area.

Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and motorists are encouraged to be prepared to reduce speed and merge in and around the work zone.

TxDOT plans seal coat work in Van Zandt County

VAN ZANDT COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform resurfacing operations on SH 64 between US 80 in Wills Point and Interstate 20.

Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.

TxDOT plans work in Smith County

SMITH COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to conclude shoulder work on FM 346 between US 69 and FM 756, then move to perform the same work on FM 756 south of FM 346, and on FM 344 between FM 756 and US 69 in Bullard.

A second crew is scheduled to perform ditch work in various locations on Toll 49 between FM 756 and SH 110.

Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress. Motorists are encouraged to be prepared to reduce speed and merge in and around the work zones.

TxDOT plans work in Cherokee County

CHEROKEE COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to make base and pavement repairs on US 79 near the Henderson County Line, then move mid-week to perform the same work in various locations on US 79 east of Jacksonville between Loop 456 and New Summerfield.

Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and motorists are encouraged to be prepared to reduce speed and merge in and around the work zones.

TxDOT plans work in Anderson County 

ANDERSON COUNTY -- Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform edge and shoulder work in various locations on SH 294 between US 287 in Elkhart and FM 228 near the Cherokee County Line.

Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.

TxDOT plans work in, around Athens

ATHENS – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue base and pavement repairs on SH 19 between North Loop 7 and Downtown Athens.

Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.
