ABILENE — An entrance and an exit ramp on eastbound I-20 in Abilene will be closed starting Jan. 3 as part of the ongoing frontage road construction project.

At about 8:30 a.m., exit #290 to Loop 322/SH 36 as well as the entrance ramp just past SH 351 will close so crews can relocate these ramps. Electronic message boards will be posted to inform drivers of the change.

Crews will work to open the new exit ramp first and will then complete the entrance ramp. A time frame for opening the ramps has not yet been determined.
