Construction Under Way on SH 174

Where: SH 174 from Interstate 35W to Elk Drive in Burleson
When: Starting Monday, Feb. 18.

BURLESON — The preparation has already started to the construction of SH 174.  They will begin the process on Monday Feb. 18 (weather permitting).  The project will include safety-enhancing raised curb medians with left turn bays, landscape and irrigation improvements, and the milling of the old surface and the overlaying of a new one.  

Milling will be completed at night from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Daytime construction will be limited to off-peak hours between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.  The project is estimated for completion by summer 2014.
