Suzanne Latimer, JD, serves as director of the Office of Compliance and Ethics.

With more than twenty years' experience with TxDOT, she managed the Legal Section of the Right of Way Division prior to transitioning to the Office of General Counsel specializing in eminent domain.

In 2007, Latimer researched and developed a compliance program for TxDOT at the request of Commissioners and Administration. In September 2010, TxDOT's compliance program won the excellence in service award by the Western Associate of State Highway and Transportation Officials. She became the director of the Office of Compliance and Ethics in December 2011.

Latimer was named the department's nominee for Outstanding Management awarded to Outstanding Women in Texas Government by the State Agency Council to the Governor.

She graduated with honors from the University of Texas Law School.
