Lynn Isaak, P.E., serves as director of Project Management.
She is responsible for directing and overseeing the planning, development, and coordination of the implementation of project management tools for the delivery of all projects for TxDOT's project portfolio.
Isaak leads the development and management of enterprise-wide portfolio status and health reports, cost performance indicators, schedule performance indicators, and risk scores.
Most recently, she was a construction group manager for Atkins North America, Inc., where she managed a team of construction managers and inspectors. Their projects included the Manor Expressway projects in Austin, the TxDOT pass-through funded project on Blanco Road in San Antonio, and the Spur 601 project in El Paso. She also served as the office leader for the Austin Atkins office.
Isaak has more than 20 years of diverse transportation engineering experience, including construction and production project management. She was previously a construction project manager at the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for three segments of reconstruction of Interstate 4 in Tampa. She also served as production project manager for several projects in the Tampa during her 11-year career at FDOT, including nine projects along the US 19 corridor.
She was previously founder and owner of an engineering consulting firm for five years. The firm provided engineering support, serving as liaison between consultant designers and construction managers on ongoing construction projects, critical path method scheduling and utility coordination on projects in both FDOT District 7 and the TxDOT Austin District's Phase II toll projects.
Isaak earned her bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of South Florida. She is a registered professional engineer in Texas, Florida and Georgia.
She lives in Austin with her husband, Mark, and two sons.
