Energy Sector Roadway Repair - request for qualifications (RFQ)

Energy Sector Roadway Repair

The Energy Sector Roadway Repair Project (Project) will provide for the reconstruction, rehabilitation and/or repair of roadways and/or bridges within the state highway system damaged by oversize vehicles or overweight loads used in the development and production of energy or by above normal usage of roadways and/or bridges within the state highway system by vehicles used in the development and production of energy. The project may include identified roadways in the Corpus Christi, Yoakum, Laredo, and San Antonio districts.

Short list

On Sept. 24, 2013, TxDOT announced the short list of the most qualified teams to compete for the Energy Sector Roadway Repair public-private partnership agreement. The teams will be invited to submit a detailed proposal.

Qualification teams

On Sept. 3, 2013, TxDOT posted the list of qualification submittal teams and equity members for the Energy Sector Roadway Repair Project.

One-on-one meetings

TxDOT held industry one-on-one meetings Aug. 12-13, 2013 for the Energy Sector Road Repair Design-Build Project.

Workshop

TxDOT hosted an industry workshop regarding a design-build project involving multiple locations in heavily utilized energy sector regions of the state. Information on the workshop is located in the table below.
