Open House - FM 1103 From I-35 to Rodeo Way

Purpose: The TxDOT San Antonio District will hold a public meeting regarding the proposed improvements to Farm-to-Market Road (FM) 1103 from I-35 to Rodeo Way, in Comal and Guadalupe Counties, Texas.
   
Description: TxDOT will host an open house to present proposed improvements to FM 1103 from I-35 to Rodeo Way. Proposed improvements may include:

  • Expanding FM 1103 from a two-lane roadway to a four-lane roadway with center turn lane
  • Proposed pedestrian accommodations
  • New right-of-way acquisition is anticipated

The public is invited to attend the meeting to view project maps, visit with team members, ask questions and share comments. As the meeting is an open house format, no formal presentation will be given. All attendees can come at their convenience. Comments may be submitted using any of the following methods:

  • Written comment card submitted at the meeting
  • Verbal comment made to the court reporter at the meeting
  • Written comments submitted by mail, email or fax after the meeting

After the meeting, written comments may be submitted to Cox|McLain Environmental Consulting, 6010 Balcones Drive, Suite 210, Austin, TX 78731. Faxed comments will also be accepted at (512) 338-2225. Written comments must be postmarked, faxed or emailed to FM1103@coxmclain.com by April 8, 2016, for inclusion in the Public Meeting Record.

The environmental review, consultation and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 16, 2014, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
