Authorizations and approvals
On May 31, 2012, the Texas Transportation Commission (TTC), in Minute Order 113116, authorized the issuance of a request for qualifications (RFQ) to design, construct and perform capital maintenance on Loop 1604 Western Extension from FM 471 (Culebra Road) to SH 16 (Bandera Road) in Northwest San Antonio. The TTC also approved the notification of the RFQ in the Texas Register.
On January 24, 2013, the department held a pre-QS Industry Workshop to discuss the upcoming release of the RFQ.
