Description

TxDOT is proposing improvements along SH 75 from FM 3083 to FM 2432 in Montgomery County, Texas. The proposed project would widen the existing SH 75 from a two-lane undivided roadway with open ditches to a four-lane, divided roadway with curb and gutter drainage. The project length is approximately five miles. The proposed roadway would include two 12-foot-wide lanes in each direction, and 12-foot-wide shoulders. The proposed roadway would have a flush median from FM 3083 to League Line Road, and an 18-foot-wide raised median from League Line Road to FM 2432. A total of approximately 8.75 acres of new right of way (ROW) would be required for the proposed roadway improvements. Detention pond locations are under evaluation and to be determined.

Although additional ROW would be required for the proposed roadway improvements, no residential or non-residential structures are anticipated to be displaced at this time. Information concerning services and benefits available to affected property owners and information about the tentative schedule for ROW acquisition and construction may be obtained by calling (713) 802-5223.

The proposed project would involve construction in wetlands.

The proposed project would involve an action in a regulatory floodplain.

Any environmental documentation or studies, maps and drawings showing the project location and design, tentative construction schedules, and other information regarding the proposed project are on file and available for review by appointment Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the TxDOT Houston District Office, 7600 Washington Avenue, Houston, Texas 77007 or at the TxDOT Montgomery Area Office located at 901 N. FM 3083 East, Conroe, Texas 77303. Project materials are also available on this page.
